Mini Meisters is a 10-week program that strives to create a broader base of skills at a young age by alternating disciplines of cross country skiing and alpine skiing. Skiers alternate weeks on alpine equipment and cross country (XC) equipment (cross country equipment provided if you don’t have your own). This approach teaches better movement on skis and skill development that crosses over to all skiing disciplines.

• Participants need alpine ski equipment including a helmet (no ski poles.)
• We encourage families to rent XC equipment for the season. Low-cost XC equipment rentals for this program are available through the Steamboat Ski Touring Center (970) 879-8180. One size fits all XC ski equipment can be provided.
• Howelsen Hill Alpine and Nordic season pass required (free for ages 4 & under).
• Enrollment for this program will reach capacity.  Register early.
