Beginner Skateboard, ages 6-12

Skateboard Beginner (ages 6-12)

This introductory program is for kids with limited or no experience skateboarding. It is focused on teaching fundamental concepts such as balance, turning and pushing. Kids learn to use basic techniques to roll over common features in the skatepark.

Requirements
  Equipment Requirements:
  • Helmets are required for participation.
  • Elbow, knee and wrist guards are highly recommended.
  • Participants need their own skateboards and equipment.
Schedule

Monday & Wednesday, 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (Group #1)  OR 9:30-11 a.m. (Group #2)

Session 1: June 9 - June 25
Session 2: July 7 - July 23
Session 3: July 28 - August 13

LOCATION: Mondays at Bear River and Wednesdays at Howelsen

2025 Program Fee

2025 PROGRAM FEE: $290/session

SSWSC offers scholarships for summer program fees through a one-step EZ Scholarship process during registration and enrollment.
