An introduction to the weight room covering everything from weight room etiquette, how to read prescribed programming, weight lifting technique, and much more to create a solid understanding of why training off-snow is important. Created for athletes who are in the growth phase of peak height velocity, this program is essential to building athlete confidence in the weight room, understanding body awareness, and continuing to dial in proper movement patterns to help avoid injuries. A movement screen analysis will be performed at the onset of the program to understand the fundamental role that movement patterns play in athletes’ athletic goals and daily movement.

Recommended for athletes who plan to participate in U14 Cross Country, U14 Alpine Racing, U15 Moguls, Devo Free, U14 Ski Jumping or Nordic Combined, or for athletes born in 2011 or earlier in the following programs: Snowboard Junior Team, Snowboard Junior Team Part Time, Freeski Junior Team.

DATES AND TIMES:
Monday & Wednesday 10-11:30 a.m. OR Tuesday & Thursday 3:30-5 p.m.
*The second Friday in each session will be a bonus Fundamentals Field Day (trampolines, swimming, hikes, etc.)

Session 1: June 10- June 27
Session 2: July 8 - July 25
Session 3: July 29 - August 15

2024 PROGRAM FEE: $660 for the full summer, $220/session
