Freeskiing Summer Conditioning, ages 15+

Freeskiing Strength & Conditioning Sessions

(For athletes age 15 and older athletes or who will be in High School for the upcoming winter)

The conditioning program is designed to raise the athlete’s fitness levels and understanding of how their body mechanics work within the sport of Freeskiing. Summer conditioning is an important addition to any athlete’s training plan for both injury prevention and to prepare for the physical demands of the sport of freeskiing. The strength, conditioning and jumping mechanics program will be based on core strength and body movement patterns to be creative, fun, difficult, diverse and build towards your goals for next season. These sessions are designed to work around water ramping schedules. *If participating in Sr Freesking Senior Competitive Team in the 2024/25 season, this program is expected unless participating in other similar activities over the summer.

DATES AND TIMES: June 11 - August 15: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8-9:30 a.m.

 
2024 PROGRAM FEE: $830 (will be used as a deposit toward winter program fees if the athlete registers for a 2024-2025 full-season SSWSC winter competitive program)
