Winter weather is wild and windy. SSWSC Big Mountain athletes traveled to Breckenridge March 15-17, 2025 to participate in the final IFSA 3* National event of the season. What was supposed to be two days of qualifying and then a third day of finals turned into two days of finals as the wind, clouds and snow descended on Breckenridge.
NorAm Finals just concluded at Sugarloaf and Burke Mountain. SSWSC athletes traveled east to compete against the top alpine skiers in North America from March 10-20, 2025.
The U10 Alpine Program wrapped up the season on March 15, 2025. It's been an incredible season of tremendous progress and growth for all SSWSC U10 athletes.
SSWSC U12 athletes attended the RMD U12 Championships at Powderhorn Mountain Resort on March 15-16. With smiles and huge team spirit, this festive and fun event brought out each of the athletes strongest skiing, results, and experiences of the season!
SSWSC cross country athletes just returned from a week of races at the 2025 U.S. Cross Country Junior National Championships in Soldier Hollow, Utah—the 2002 Olympic Venue in Midway, Utah, from March 6 – 15, 2025. Five SSWSC athletes placed in the top ten in individual races—Tristan Thrasher, Campbell McLaren, Georgia Bishop, Maia McGinnins-Smith, and Grace Olexa.
