SSWSC Cross Country Athletes Show Strength with Multiple Top-Ten Finishes at Junior Nationals

SSWSC cross country athletes just returned from a week of races at the 2025 U.S. Cross Country Junior National Championships</a> in Soldier Hollow, Utah—the 2002 Olympic Venue in Midway, Utah, from March 6 – 15, 2025. Five SSWSC athletes placed in the top ten in individual races—Tristan Thrasher, Campbell McLaren, Georgia Bishop, Maia McGinnins-Smith, and Grace Olexa. Snowboard Athletes Come Out in Force for the USASA Comp in Steamboat

SSWSC hosted two USASA events at Steamboat Resort, March 1-2, 2025—Saturday slopestyle and Sunday halfpipe. The competitions were the last two regional USASA events of the season, and based on results from the comp in Steamboat, many athletes secured points to receive an invitation to the US Snowboard National Championships at Copper Mountain on March 28-April 3, 2025

Mia Satkiewcz Wins Moguls Rocky Freestyle Divisional Championships Liam Siefken Earns Silver

Fourteen Athletes Qualify for the 2025 Freestyle Junior National Championships. SSWSC’s TeamSteam traveled to Telluride for the Rocky Mountain Freestyle Divisional Championships, March 8-9. With the opportunity to earn big points, the athletes were put to the test on a mogul course with an extremely icy, steep top section into a big jump with a steep, icy landing, firm, horizontal bumps through the middle, a big bottom jump and steep moguls to the finish.

SSWSC Athletes Post Incredible Results at 2025 FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships

The 2025 FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships (JWSC) wrapped up in Tarvisio, Italy on March 6, 2025. Two current Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club athletes—Jeremy Nolting and Logan Grosdidier and one SSWSC alum, Tatum Grosdidier (U.S. Ski Team/University of Utah Ski Team) qualified to compete in the events. SSWSC’s Jeremy Nolting had a stellar performance at the 2025 Junior World Ski Championships and was the top American in both slalom and giant slalom. Logan Grosdidier was the fastest U18 in giant slalom, moving from 30th to 7th place.
