Snowboard Cross SBX Athletes Post Career Best Results in Continental Cup in Corralco, Chile

The ProAm SBX Team headed south to kick off the 2026-2027 competitive season in Corralco, Chile. The Andes Mountain Range got buried during the Southern Hemisphere winter, fueled by persistent atmospheric rivers and El Niño patterns that delivered some of its highest snowfall totals in decades. After a challenging past winter at home, it was a welcome sight to see Corralco Ski Resort, built on the southeastern side of the Lonquimay Volcano, covered in snow.

Welcome, Adam Spector, New SSWSC Facilities Manager

SSWSC is thrilled to announce that Adam Spector has joined the team as our new Facilities Manager. Adam has been part of the club community for a decade, since his daughter Livia, a U16 cross country skier, joined the program. Adam is passionate about the outdoors and the role youth sports play in building confidence, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for the mountains. He is excited to bring his professional experience and commitment to the Steamboat community to his work with SSWSC.

Steamboat Springs High School Mountain Bike Team Goes 3-0, Winning Haymaker Classic in Eagle, Colorado

The Steamboat Springs High School mountain bike team is now 3-0 on the season after winning the Colorado High School Cycling League Yampa Division 1 team competition at the Haymaker Classic in Eagle on Saturday. The victory gives Steamboat three consecutive Division 1 wins to open the four-race 2026 regular season. The team posted nine podium finishes and 14 top-10 results, increasing its total points from one of the best showings ever two weeks ago in Steamboat.

Steamboat Mountain Bike Team Defends Home Turf with Division 1 Victory at Showdown in the Boat

The High School Mountain Bike Team defended its home trails Sunday with another strong all-around performance, winning the Colorado High School Cycling League Yampa Region Division 1 competition at the Showdown in the ‘Boat. Steamboat scored 7,634 points, finishing ahead of Boulder with 7,307 and Summit with 6,998. The victory gives Steamboat two consecutive Division 1 wins to open the four-race 2026 regular season. The team produced 16 top-10 finishes, five top-three performances and two individual victories.

Middle School Mountain Bike Athletes Compete in Inaugural Middle School Mayhem Races

Quintin Biagi and Wyatt Sill proudly represented SSWSC at the Colorado High School Cycling League's inaugural Middle School Mayhem races in Eagle, Colorado, on September 12 and 13. Athletes raced on the Haymaker trail system on a shortened 3.5-mile course built for middle schoolers, alongside 7th and 8th graders from across the state. Every Middle School Mayhem race is a timed event with official results and its own podium ceremony.

Middle School Mountain Bike Camp Athletes Embrace Training for Racing

SSWSC launched a new middle school mountain bike fall camp late summer for 6th-8th grade riders, designed to give athletes a sense of what joining the high school mountain bike team looks like. Six athletes joined the camp and embraced the new challenge of training for racing with interval work and race strategy.

Moguls Team Parents and Siblings Try Water Ramps

TeamSteam moguls coaches their parents and siblings in water ramping at Bald Eagle Lake and what a spectacle! Families got to experience what their athletes spend their summers doing at training. Some landed on their feet, some didn’t but everyone came away a little sore but with a smile on their face.
