Nine girls from the Snowboard Devo Team headed to Copper Mountain for a special girls day with athletes from Team Summit. Team Summit brought giant bubble wands, we added glitter to our faces, and the girls picked out stickers from Coach Maddie’s impressive collection. We sought out rock drops and side hits, blew bubbles all over the mountain, and enjoyed some snow cones (thankful for some fresh snow!)
The afternoon wrapped up in the Woodward Barn, where athletes worked on backflips with Team Summit’s Coach Heather – who is also a gymnastics coach. It was a day full of progression, laughter, and strong connections between teams.
