About the Foundation

Building a Legacy Since 2000

Over the last 100+ years, SSWSC programs have positively impacted thousands of lives, thanks in large part to generations of support from businesses and individuals who have contributed to the club and the SSWSC Foundation.

The Foundation was established in 2000 to enhance and provide for the long-term sustainability of SSWSC. All charitable contributions to support the SSWSC mission should be made payable to the SSWSC Foundation.

As of 2026 the Foundation holds over $10 million in long-term assets and investments, essential to enhancing SSWSC programs and advancing the mission.

What the Foundation Funds

World-Class Coaches & Staff

Attracting, supporting and retaining highly qualified coaches, mentors, and staff who develop athletes on and off the mountain.

Scholarship Funds

The Foundation holds a scholarship reserve fund ensuring that SSWSC can provide adequate scholarships and athletes are not held back by financial barriers.

Capital Improvements

Facilitating strategic capital improvements in facilities and vehicles/equipment that serve our athletes and the broader Steamboat community.

Annual Operations

Making annual allocations (approximately 5% of endowed funds) to directly support SSWSC operations and programming each year.
