Winter Cross Country

U10/U12 Cross Country

The U10/U12 Cross Country program is designed for young skiers interested in exploring cross country ski training and racing, including basics for first-time skiers and further developing skills for those with some experience. Skiers participate in physical conditioning activities and learn the basic cross country techniques in both skate and classic through games and exploration with an emphasis on fostering a love of the sport. Competitive opportunities are available and encouraged through Rocky Mountain Nordic (RMN) Races, Steamboat Cup events, and local races. No experience required.
