U12 Alpine athletes celebrated their focus and commitment to training all season with a fun and festive weekend of ski racing at the RMD U12 Alpine Championships at Powderhorn Mountain Resort March 14-15. Under sunny skies and with springlike conditions, athletes embraced the slalom and giant slalom weekend of competitions with smiles and courage. The team work and spirit was endearing, and SSWSC parents graciously filled volunteer positions and helped with venue operations to help make this memorable event for U12 athletes a huge success for all RMD teams. Congratulations to all the U12 athletes who participated at the RMD U12 Champs, and for achieving USSA/RMD 3rd Overall Team Award U12 Championship!
