25 athletes from our Devo Team, Jr Team, and Big Mountain programs headed to The Barn at Woodward Copper for an early-season team trip. We booked a private party which not only kept costs lower for families, but included our own dedicated Woodward coach. Woodward Coach Caleb led our Devo Team athletes through a backflip progression — showing firsthand how we can break down intimidating and scary tasks into simple, achievable steps.
A highlight of the trip was the team camaraderie and mentorship between groups. Since the upcoming competition season will have athletes collaborating with a variety of coaches and teammates, this trip was a perfect way to practice communication, teamwork, and connection beyond their regular group. The trip was a big success and we can’t wait to do it again next year.
