The Moguls Team finished off the summer ramping season with four days at the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah, flipping and twisting their way through a busy, yet productive, water ramp camp.
With 2026 Steamboat Olympian Landon Wendler leading the coaching, SSWSC athletes had the opportunity to learn from one of the best in the world. Landon was joined by US Devo Team athlete and SSWSC alum Anabel Ayad, and the two guest coaches offered inspirational advice to this next generation of mogul skiers.
The athletes also visited the US Ski Team’s Center of Excellence for a mobility session with a US Ski Team S&C coach and experienced the Super Tramp for the first time. A session at Woodward offered plenty of tramping, scootering and, of course, the harrowing rollerblade ramp.
A highlight of the camp was watching the US Mogul Team’s final two days of ramp training before they headed to Chile. Seeing their patient takeoffs, their squeeze in the air and the occasional mess-up showed how even the best in the world have to work for their tricks.
Next up for the U17/U19 Mogul Team: back to S&C and ramps. Nothing takes the place of hard work!
