SSWSC Cycling showed up and represented at the Emerald Mountain Epic last Saturday. Five athletes from Senior Team and four from Junior Team tackled the 26-mile Epic course that featured over 3600 ft of climbing.

Congrats to Sydney Soard for braving the full 52-mile race, finishing in 5hrs and 40 mins to take 2nd place in the overall Women’s field. Whitney Warnke and Allie Reznicek of team Double Trouble fought through some adversity to finish an impressive 5th in the Women’s Duo.
Odin Gruben and Fisher Beauregard of team OK Garmin landed on the podium in 3rd for the highly competitive Men’s Duo category. Junior team members Cooper and Griffin Curry (Team Ketchup & Mustard) and Colton Richey and Quintin Biagi (Team Chicken & Mustard) finished 37th and 44th in Men’s Duo. Way to go, boys!!
Big Mountain Enduro Series in Jackson Hole
Senior team also sent four athletes to the Big Mtn Enduro series finals in Jackson Hole over the weekend. Congrats to Robbie Wodnik and Anderson Agopian for impressive results in the Advanced Boys category, finishing 2nd and 4th, respectively. Robbie also won the overall series title! In the women’s division, Sasha Wodnik won the weekend and overall series title in the Youth 13-14 category, while Lucia Magnotta topped the podium with a win in the 15-18 category.Senior Team continues to post top results and strong riding, no matter the discipline or race location. We can’t wait to see what high school race season brings this fall!
