Quintin Biagi and Wyatt Sill proudly represented SSWSC at the Colorado High School Cycling League’s inaugural Middle School Mayhem races in Eagle, Colorado, on September 12 and 13. Athletes raced on the Haymaker trail system on a shortened 3.5-mile course built for middle schoolers, alongside 7th and 8th graders from across the state. Every Middle School Mayhem race is a timed event with official results and its own podium ceremony.
Both boys raced strongly and improved their times from Saturday to Sunday, and Quintin earned a spot on the podium with a 3rd place finish on Sunday.
The next races are September 26 and 27. Each race counts on its own, so new riders can jump in at any point, and no racing experience is required. There will be four total races this season. For more information, visit the Colorado High School Cycling League site HERE!
