Summer Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined

U14 Nordic Combined Summer Training Program

The U14 Jumping/Nordic Combined Summer program is designed for the athlete who intends to be in the U14 J/NC program next winter. Athletes will experience personal growth while developing a solid base of jumping and cross country skills needed in the winter season. Jump sessions will focus on HS45 & HS75 landing bump jumps, HS45 and HS75 plastic jumps. Dryland will focus on strength, technical drills, flexibility, agility, endurance adventures around Steamboat and skate roller skiing. Participants must be willing and able to participate in active adventures that last two to four hours. U14 ski jumping and nordic combined athletes are encouraged to sign up for Fundamentals of Strength & Conditioning.

THREE SESSIONS TO CHOOSE FROM, OR ALL THREE SESSIONS:

Session 1: May 25 – July 4
Monday, 7:30-10:00 a.m. (endurance)
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30-10:00 a.m. (jumping)
Thursday, 8:00-10:00 a.m. (roller ski, NC only)
*Training prior to June 5 will take place from 4-6 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Session 2: July 6-24
Monday, 7:30-10:00 a.m. (endurance)
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30-10:00 a.m. (jumping)
Thursday, 8:00-10:00 a.m. (roller ski, NC only)

Session 3: July 27 – August 14
Monday, 7:30-10:00 a.m. (endurance)
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30-10:00 a.m. (jumping)
Thursday, 8:00-10:00 a.m. (roller ski, NC only)
