The Snowboard Senior Team is for the experienced rider who exhibits a high level of dedication to snowboarding and is looking to develop the well-rounded skills required for competition and elite-level riding. Training sessions will focus on advanced techniques in Slopestyle and Halfpipe with the goal of developing a strong base for USASA events, Future’s Tour, and Rev Tours competitions. These athletes will compete in USASA, Futures, and Rev Tour events. The program includes a comprehensive year-round strength and conditioning program beginning in May and continuing through the winter. 8th grade athletes will need a coach’s recommendation to join.
Spring: May 4-June 5
9th and 10th grade athletes: Monday and Wednesday, 2:30-4 p.m., Howelsen Hill Gym
11th and 12th grade athletes: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 1-2:30 p.m., Howelsen Hill Gym
Steamboat Mountain School (SMS) athletes: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 4-5:30 p.m. at Steamboat Mountain School
May Move Up sessions for 8th graders: Wednesday, 5-6:15 p.m., Howelsen Hill Gym
Summer: June 8-August 14
9th and 10th grade athletes: Tuesday, Thursday, 8-9:30 a.m., Howelsen Hill Gym
11th and 12th grade athletes: Monday, 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday, 7:30-9 a.m., Friday, 8:30-10 a.m.
