Summer Cross Country

R.A.D. Camp, ages 9-12

Recreational Athletic Development (R.A.D) Camp is designed to give kids an introduction to the best of SSWSC summer sports and facilities in a fun, engaging format with no prior experience necessary. Each day of the program will be unique, combining activities like trampoline, nordic jumping, rollerblade, hiking, field games, and more in the morning followed by lunch and a short afternoon activity before pick-up. Based out of Howelsen Hill and using SSWSC facilities, the goal of the camp is to introduce kids to SSWSC sports through play and exploration, giving them an opportunity to find what they enjoy most while developing the fundamental competence for lifelong physical activity. Coached by experienced SSWSC coaches from each sport, this program is intended to introduce the best and most fun activities for this age group.

Athletes should only register for one R.A.D. Camp session each summer.
