Lil’ Rascals is a learn-to-snowboard program for the youngest riders. Riders will learn to slide around Howelsen Hill while being introduced to snowboarding and snow play through a gentle and fun teaching approach. Classes are held at the magic carpet and boardwalk areas on Howelsen Hill. No experience necessary. A Howelsen Hill pass is required (pass is free for kids four years and younger).

Passes
Must have Howelsen Hill Alpine Pass (free for age 4 and younger)

4-5 years old. Must be 4 years old by December 31, 2026.

Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarships: SSWSC offers the EZ Program Fee Scholarships for local families with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) up to $175,000 for winter and summer programs and up to $250,000 for competitive programs. All EZ Program Fee Scholarship applicants are required to submit a current 1040 or 1040EZ tax return to determine eligibility.
