Adult Programs

At SSWSC, we believe in the value of sport and physical activity at all stages of life, not only for the youth and school-age athletes in our core programs but also for SSWSC parents and other adults in the community. One of the primary goals of SSWSC is to develop lifelong athletes who continue to pursue sport and physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle or choose to give back to sport as coaches, leaders, instructors, officials, and volunteers. SSWSC adult programs in alpine skiing, cross country skiing, and backcountry skiing/riding are intended to contribute to the culture and health of ‘Ski Town USA’ by providing opportunities for adults in our community to gather to learn new skills, train, and, if they choose, even compete in these sports. These programs are low-commitment, with flexible schedules that make it easy for adults to join up to stay fit, improve, build community, or learn more about the sports their kids are enjoying. SSWSC adult programs are led by highly experienced coaches who are motivated to share their knowledge and passion with the community and are offered at times that work for busy adults.
