The parking lot in front of Howelsen Lodge is for drop-off and pick-up only starting December 1. There is no long-term parking in this lot until the end of the season. We ask parents, staff, and visitors to park in the outer lot if they plan to park for more than 5 minutes. The first lane next to the fence is reserved for Big Blue, our SSWSC bus, between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
For Athletes Riding Big Blue:
- Skis and snowboards can be dropped off at Howelsen Hill outside on the snow to the left of the Howelsen Lodge entry on the SSWSC ski racks.
- Athletes can bring gear bags to school, but bags can also be dropped at Howelsen Lodge inside the locker room on the first floor when you walk in the doors.
- If Howelsen Lodge is not open, please drop bags outside the front door. SSWSC employees will bring all bags inside.
- Please mark all gear with your athlete’s name and phone number.
Steamboat Ski Resort Parking and Drop-Off
Please use the Steamboat Parking map for general parking and drop-off directions at Steamboat Ski Resort. Youth programs will send out specific instructions with detailed drop-off and pick-up times and locations. For general parking, free options include the Knoll Lot (a short walk to the lifts) and the Meadows Lot (with shuttle service). Skier drop-off near the transit center is very limited.
For those accessing the Liman Mountain Center, please note that there is no parking, drop-off, or pick-up at the Torian Plum buildings. Parking on Ski Time Square Drive is two hours and usually full.
