Devo Freeski traveled with five athletes to Vail on Wednesday, March 4th, for the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA) U12 big mountain event. After a last-minute venue change and with beautiful blue skies, athletes were able to complete inspection of this new venue to choose their lines for competition runs. Each athlete laid down some of their best runs of the season to show off their technical skiing abilities and bravery on multiple cliff drop areas. After competing, the crew got to enjoy some slush bumps in Vail’s back bowls, then finished up with some sweet park laps. Congrats to Kellen O’Connell for his 4th place podium finish and to all the athletes for stomping solid runs!
