The Rocky Mountain Freestyle RQS Series and Devo Series Mogul Championships were held at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area from March 12–15. Despite grueling weather conditions that tested not only the athletes but also the dedicated spectators and parents, Team Steam delivered an impressive finish to the season. Christopher Bernitt came in 1st place in RQS M13 singles and 2nd place in RQS duals.
With numerous athletes competing and showcasing the culmination of months of hard work and training, Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Devo athletes earned top podium positions in both the male and female categories.
The coaches and families of SSWSC are incredibly proud of the team’s hard work, resilience, and dedication. Although it was an unusual winter for both training and competitions, the athletes demonstrated remarkable adaptability and commitment, pushing through challenges and continuing to improve all the way to the end.
It was truly a successful conclusion to the season, and we are already looking forward to what’s ahead next year.
