Thirteen moguls athletes qualified for the 2026 Freestyle Moguls Junior Nationals at Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah, March 16–22, where they competed for U15, U17, and U19 junior national titles in moguls and dual moguls. Finley Fontaine, Anouk Bradley, Lyllah Miller, Sydney Soard, Kensie Ricketts, Lucy Gray, and Gigi Lobeck qualified for the women, and Griffin Harvey, Henry Crump, Cole Anderson, Aiden Kottcamp, Max Marrs, and Archer Glaskin qualified for the men—and the team showed up to perform.
Miraculously, the mogul courses held up in 70-degree, sunny weather thanks to continual maintenance from Park City Ski and Snowboard and Utah Olympic Park. With slushy bumps and big airs, SSWSC athletes battled the best junior mogul competitors in the country, showing off their skills.
In their first Junior Nationals, the U15 team had amazing results: Archer Glaskin narrowly missed the podium, finishing 4th. Max Marrs improved his qualifying result, finishing 8th. Aiden Kottcamp was 38th, and Lucy Gray was 28th.
For U17, Sydney Soard took the junior national championship title by over 5 points! Competing a back truck for the first time, Soard’s calculated and clean turns earned her the fastest time of the day and the highest turn scores. Huge congrats, Syd! Gigi Lobeck continued her strong turns and speed, finishing in 6th place. Kensie Ricketts, in her first Junior Nationals, placed 8th, and Lyllah Miller finished 9th.
In boys U17, Griffin Harvey lit it up, finishing in 2nd place after a blistering qualifying run putting him in first place with a blistering fast run, over half a second faster than anyone else. Cole Anderson performed his full twisting back layout on the top jump and nailed the ski-out to place 7th. Henry Crump, after missing over half the season due to injury, stepped it up to finish 14th.
Finley Fontaine, in her last single moguls event after 12 years of skiing with SSWSC, ended with a career-high 5th in the U19 girls. Scoring her highest ever, Finley pushed it in speed, air, and turns. Congrats on your impressive run through Rocky and Juniors, Fin!
