Athletes Put Down Solid Runs at Freestyle DEVO and RQS at Aspen Highlands

January 10–11, at the Rocky Mountain Freestyle DEVO and RQS competitions at Aspen Highlands, the U13 and U15 Moguls squads represented SSWSC with strong effort and skill. Despite limited terrain availability early in the season, we were proud to see the athletes stay focused, trust their training, and put down solid runs when it counted.

At Saturday’s RQS event, the five U15 girls, Grace Manning, Harper Dopkin, Mollie MacEntee, Avery Middledorf, and Shea Sullivan, all placed in the top ten, taking home half of the age-class ribbons. The three U15 boys, Sam Pulford, Christopher Bernitt, and Jack Bonelli—also skied strong runs, earning two top-five finishes.

At Sunday’s DEVO competition, the U13 girls squad, including F11s Miriam Colon, Olivia Roesink, and Vivian Colon, and F13s Camille Pahula and Peri Owinter, skied well, with three top-eight age-class finishes. The U13 boys, led by Graham Lowell and including Robert Pritchard and Elliot Lowell, also had strong performances, with all athletes finishing in the top 12.
