Howelsen Homecoming: SSWSC Fall Fundraiser

Grab your crew, wear your SSWSC blue, your swag (old or new), and come home to Howelsen Hill for our new fall fundraiser, SSWSC Howelsen Homecoming, an evening celebrating all the things that make Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club one of a kind.

Inspired by the spirit of a classic college homecoming, SSWSC Howelsen Homecoming is the official kickoff to the season and SSWSC Annual Fund. Together, we’ll celebrate SSWSC and invest in its future, supporting athlete development and coaching for athletes of all ages to pursue excellence on and off the mountain.

What to Expect

  • Dress (it’s casual fall attire): anything SSWSC blue, or wear your SSWSC logo t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hat!
  • Delicious fare from local food trucks including Shreddies, Mountain Tap, and Skull Creek (food served from 5:30-7:30 p.m.)
  • Signature cocktails from Mythology and local craft beer from Mountain Tap
  • DJ, lawn games and college-themed activities hosted by our programs
  • Alumni storytelling and recognition
  • Ski jumping demonstrations
  • Silent auction with local experiences

You’re Invited

Whether you’re a longtime supporter, an SSWSC alum, parent of a current athlete, or someone who simply loves our community, this event is an opportunity to celebrate Steamboat’s rich winter sports tradition while investing in the future.

When: October 9, 2026
Time: Festivities start at 5 p.m. (food trucks from 5:30-7:30 p.m.)
How Much: $125 per person, including food and drinks, plus access to an evening filled with community, connection, and fun activities. $100 of each ticket goes to SSWSC.
Note: This is an adult-only (21+) event, and we are assessing interest in babysitting options via registration.
