21st Annual 4th of July Jumpin’ & Jammin’ 2026

Celebrate the 4th of July at Howelsen Hill. Catch the excitement as 80 of the country’s top Nordic combined and ski jumping athletes launch up to 225 feet from the HS75 jump.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and set up on the grass for a great view. Shade umbrellas are welcome, and food trucks will be on site with lunch options. Also, bring your own water bottle to fill up at the free water monster station; water will not be sold at the event. ADA access available and ADA parking in front of Howelsen Lodge.
Outside alcohol isn’t permitted, but you can grab a cold beer from B&K Distributing or enjoy cocktails featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka, available for purchase.
This competition wows spectators of all ages — stop by Howelsen Hill following the parade for ski jumping in July! The competition starts at 11 a.m. on the 4th of July, right after the parade. Check out the ski jumping competition on July 3rd and the running and roller ski race downtown on July 4th just before the parade!
Join us July 3 from 4–5:30 in Olympian Hall as we honor the 13 athletes with Steamboat ties who competed at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games and celebrate Steamboat’s extraordinary Olympic legacy. Open to the entire community and visiting guests. Click here for more info
