The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club has two positions up for election on its Board of Directors.
The SSWSC has two positions up for election on its Board of Directors. These board positions are for a “three year term” and are open to anyone. Incumbent Directors, Ross Dyer and Steve Speer, are running as candidates in the election. Interested candidates should call the SSWSC office to obtain information on how to add your name to the election ballot. Candidate entry deadline is Friday, October 9, 2020 at 3:00pm. Voting begins Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 6:00am and closes Friday, October 23, 2020 at 3:00pm.
2020 SSWSC Annual Membership Meeting is October 27, 2020, 5:00pm (virtual). All current SSWSC Members will receive a link to the ballot, along with voter ID information via email.
SSWSC Boards of Directors
The SSWSC is operated and supported by two distinct and separate entities, both governed by separate Boards of Directors.
The SSWSC is a non-profit 501(C) 3 organization providing sports and youth development programming for approximately 1,000 athletes every year. Our vision is to produce champions on and off the mountain. Our goal is to be the best in the country at developing the “complete” athlete – coaching every individual to achieve their highest level of human and athletic performance – resulting in healthy, contributing members of our community as well as skilled and passionate athletes.
The SSWSC Foundation is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization that was established in 2000 to enhance and provide for the long-term sustainability of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. The SSWSC Foundation seeks to grow and manage endowment funds that will provide long-term sustainability and opportunity for all Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club children/athletes, coaches and staff.
