Snowboard Junior Team athletes took ownership of their preseason equipment prep by attending a how-to-wax clinic during dryland training.
Athletes got a chance to learn all the basics of how to wax their own snowboard and practiced taking bindings off, waxing with “the crayon method”, scraping, brushing, and even sharpening the scraper. Athletes learned that not only will a waxed board help with speed, but it will also help their board have a longer lifespan.
