Ryan moved to Steamboat at age 4 and raced with the club for 14 years, from 1994 to 2008, before graduating from Lowell Whiteman School (now Steamboat Mountain School). After studying at CU Boulder, he worked in oil and gas in Houston, then in media and tech in New York City, where he joined Snapchat’s revenue product team and met his wife, Emily. He moved back to Steamboat in 2021, and his two young daughters are now learning to ski at Howelsen Hill.

Cole Puckett: Alpine Skiing

Cole was born into a ski family and joined SSWSC in 2004, racing alpine through high school. At 15, he won Colorado Ski Country USA’s Spencer Nelson Athlete of the Year award, then skied for the University of Denver. After graduating, he came home to coach SSWSC’s alpine post-graduates and is now working in Steamboat.
