SSWSC had seven athletes representing three snowboard programs compete in halfpipe on January 9 and 10 at our first USASA competition of the season at Copper Mountain. With limited time in the halfpipe so far this year, nerves were understandably a bit higher than usual. That said, the athletes didn’t let it slow them down—everyone stepped up, worked hard, and rode to the best of their abilities. Add in a trip to The Woodward Barn and some hibachi dinner and it’s safe to say the weekend was a success!
