Ski Jumping athlete and SSWSC alum Jason Colby earned a bronze medal on the ski jumping normal hill event at the Junior World Championships in Lillehammer, Norway on March 5. Colby’s bronze is also his first individual Junior Worlds medal, adding to the Mixed Team silver and Men’s Team bronze he won in Lake Placid last year.
“It feels great, I’m happy I was able to put down two good jumps. I have an apartment here and live here for most of the year so it’s extra special,” said Colby in a story for FIS. “I had no expectations, you just want to do as well as you can so it worked out well.”
