U8 Meister (U8 M)
Exciting program that incorporates alpine skiing and cross country skiing with an exploration of nordic jumping on cross country and alpine skis. Cross country skiing has the unique ability to develop balance, weight transfer, ankle flexion and so much more that help create a solid foundation of skills. As a club, SSWSC has the unique ability to offer all disciplines at one location. Athletes will play on cross country waxless classic skis during the week and rip around on alpine skis on the weekends. Cross country days will include nordic jumping on cross country skis, fun games, obstacle courses, maybe even a chairlift ride. Alpine days will focus on fundamental skills and all mountain skiing. This program is recommended for children interested in ski jumping and nordic combined.
