Cross Country Cruisers, ages 6-9

This entry level program is designed for those who wish to explore the enjoyment of recreational cross country skiing, both classic and skate techniques. Skiers learn cross country skiing techniques through games, drills, and fun activities. Casual competition opportunities are available through the Steamboat Cup Series and the Steamboat Nordic Race Series.

  • No experience is necessary
  • Suggested cross country ski equipment includes no wax classic skis and poles, skate skis and poles, and one pair of Combi boots
  • Participants must have a Youth XC Season Pass to Howelsen Hill

DATES AND TIMES:  

     
November 30 – March 10

Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm

LOCATION: Howelsen Hill

PROGRAM FEE: $725 plus $100 refundable work deposit

 

SCHOLARSHIP PRICING
The EZ Scholarship is available to resident athletes whose 2020 family adjusted gross income (AGI) is under $160,000. When registering, you may choose the appropriate scholarship discount as follows:

$60,000-$85,000$543.75
$85,000-$110,000$616.25
$110,000-$160,000$652.50

Note that at the end of registration on the payment screen, the full price of the program will show, but before your payment is processed the amount will be adjusted. The scholarship does not reduce the work deposit.

In addition to the EZ Scholarship, families may apply for program fee scholarships whether or not they are eligible for the EZ Scholarship. For full scholarship info, click here.
