Snowboard

Big Mountain Team Part-Time, ages 14-18

The big mountain part-time program is designed for athletes who are passionate about snowboarding and want to progress in a constructive, positive environment.  Athletes will work on skill development across the entire mountain including the terrain parks, halfpipe, and big mountain, generally splitting time 50/50 between terrain park and all-mountain riding.  This program is a non-competitive skill development program focused on creating a team environment to promote technical growth. A part-time skier’s schedule from SSHS is required.

If your athlete is not participating in other fall sports, check out our additional Senior Snowboard Fall Dryland for additional preseason training and time in the gym.

  • Minimum riding requirement: Ability to ride the entire mountain with a desire to improve skills
  • Equipment requirements: Snowboarding equipment and a helmet
  • Season pass information: Purchase ski passes to Steamboat Ski Resort. IKON pass recommended for camp opportunities
