September is an excellent time to water ramp and refine new tricks for the upcoming competition season. We are excited to offer a ramp camp during this time for athletes not playing other fall sports and who would like some extra water ramp time. Each training session will include a warm-up, trampoline, and water ramp training. There will be one day of strength and conditioning at Howelsen including age-appropriate workouts, focusing on weight room etiquette and proper lifting form. This training is for athletes competing in the Devo, Qualifier Series, or Comp Series; Rocky Freestyle events this winter. This program is designed to complement and not replace the summer water ramp programs and fundamentals of strength and conditioning.
- Minimum skiing requirement: Desire and ability to ski black runs and a desire to improve skills
- Equipment requirements: Water ramp equipment is available for rent, or athletes can bring their own.
- Licensing requirements: U.S. Ski & Snowboard membership is required
