Snowboarding Strength and Conditioning

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, all SSWSC summer programming is subject to change. Program start/end dates, times, schedules, structure and prices may be adjusted. If necessary, programs may be cancelled. We will communicate any program changes to all families who have registered.

Summer conditioning is an important addition to a summer athletic program for injury prevention and to prepare for the physical demands of the sport of snowboarding. It will be creative, fun, difficult, diverse and build towards your goals for next season.

These are some great programs recommended for snowboard summer conditioning:

Youth Mountain Bike (check out “Bike and Trampoline Combo” or “It’s A Girl Thing”): Great way to improve endurance.

Skateboarding: Enhances balance and coordination

Trampoline: Improves air awareness and trick progression

Strength and Conditioning Sessions

Ages 14 & older

June 8th - August 13th:  Tuesdays & Thursday, 8am-9:30am / Mondays & Wednesdays 5pm-6:30pm

Fees:  $700 (will count as a deposit for 2020/21 winter competitive program fees)

Ages 12 and 13

FunFit will be Monday, Wednesday and featured Fridays, 10:30-12:00

Ages 10 and 11

FunFit will be Monday, Wednesday and featured Fridays, 10:30-12:00
