U10 Jumping & Nordic Combined Summer Training Program , ages 7-9

U10 Jumping & Nordic Combined Summer Training Program (ages 7-9)

This program is designed for athletes ages 7 to 9 who are new to jumping or nordic combined or who have previously completed a jumping, NC, Ski Meister or ski jumping add-on program. Athletes will experience personal growth while developing a foundation of jumping skills needed during the winter season. Sessions focus on skill development and jumping on plastic, agility, flexibility, strength and technical drills. Participants must be willing and able to participate in active adventures that last up to two hours. On Wednesdays and Fridays, athletes will practice on the HS8 and bump jumps that will be set up on the landing hills of the HS45 and HS75 to accommodate a broader range of abilities. U10 ski jumping and nordic combined athletes are also encouraged to sign up for Mt. Biking sessions to round out the summer nordic combined experience. Athletes who will be second year U8’s in winter 2025-2026 who participate in the summer U10 program are eligible to join winter U10 Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined programs in winter 2025-2026.

Requirements

Equipment Requirements: Helmet, goggles, light gloves, running shoes, athletic clothing for all weather conditions, liquid replacement for all activities, sun protection (lotion, hat, sunglasses).

Schedule

ONE FOUR-WEEK AND TWO THREE-WEEK SESSIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:
Session 1: (4 weeks) Jumping: Wednesday & Friday, June 11 - July 4 , 9-11 a.m.
Session 2: Jumping: Wednesday & Friday, July 9-25, 9-11 a.m.
Session 3: Jumping: Wednesday & Friday, July 30-August 15, 9-11 a.m.

2025 Program Fee

2025 PROGRAM FEE: $1,060 for all three sessions, $400/session

Howelsen Hill jump hill and lift fees are included in the pricing. Session fees include the optional training camp coaching and equipment fees within that session (see Summer/Fall Training Camp Schedule), but does not include camp travel, food or lodging, jump hill fees, competition entry fees or shared coaches’ expenses. The July 4th camp in Steamboat is the last week of session 1, Springer Tournee in Park City, UT is the second week of session 2, and Flight Camp in Park City is the last week of session 3. Fees include jumping equipment rental including suit. Fees are not prorated for vacations, etc. Time off is already built into the fees.

Athletes attending a summer camp during a session they are not enrolled in will pay additional coaching fees for the camp.
