Fundamentals of Strength & Conditioning
An introduction to the weight room covering everything from weight room etiquette, how to read prescribed programming, weight lifting technique, and much more to create a solid understanding of why training off-snow is important. Created for athletes who are in the growth phase of peak height velocity, this program is essential to building athlete confidence in the weight room, understanding body awareness, and continuing to dial in proper movement patterns to help avoid injuries. Recommended for athletes who plan to participate in U14 Cross Country, U14 Alpine Racing, U15 Moguls, Devo Free, U14 Ski Jumping or Nordic Combined, or for athletes born in 2012 or earlier in the following programs: Snowboard Junior Team, Snowboard All Mountain Program, Snowboard Devo, and Freeski Junior Team.

Athletic clothing, sneakers/running shoes, and a water bottle.

Monday and Wednesday 11-12:30 a.m. OR Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5 p.m.
*The second Friday in each session will be a bonus Fundamentals Field Day (trampolines, swimming, hikes, etc.)Session 1: June 9 - June 26

- 2025 Program Fee

2025 PROGRAM FEE: $230 per session, or $690 for all three sessions
- Scholarships: SSWSC offers scholarships for summer program fees through a one-step EZ Scholarship process during registration and enrollment.
