It’s a Girl Thing Skateboarding (ages 6-14)

It’s a Girl Thing Skateboarding is for beginner and intermediate female skateboarders. From girls who have little-to-no experience on a skateboard to girls who are ready to take their skateboarding to the next level, this program will provide a fun and safe space for girls to learn, encourage, and improve their confidence and skills in a fundamentals-based environment.

Requirements
  Equipment Requirements:
  • Helmets are required for participation.
  • Elbow, knee, and wrist guards are highly recommended.
  • Participants must have their own skateboard and equipment.
Schedule

Monday and Wednesday (Group #1) OR Tuesday and Thursday (Group #2)
10-11:30 a.m.

Session 1: June 9 - June 26
Session 2: July 7 - July 24  
Session 3: July 28 - August 14

LOCATION:
Group #1: Mondays at Howelsen and Wednesdays at Bear River
Group #2: Tuesdays at Howelsen and Thursdays at Bear River

2025 Program Fee

2025 PROGRAM FEE: $290/session

  • Scholarships: SSWSC offers scholarships for summer program fees through a one-step EZ Scholarship process during registration and enrollment.
