Intermediate Bike Camp (age 8-10) NEW!
This program is for young riders with at least one year of singletrack biking experience who are comfortable riding intermediate trails and are looking to improve their riding skills through instruction, challenges, and adventure. A great program for kids who have experience from Youth or Adventure Team mountain biking, days will combine longer rides on Howelsen and trails near Steamboat with skill work on grass and in Bear River Bike Park, bike maintenance instruction and practice, and an introduction to foundational physical literacy and strength for cycling. The goals of the camp are to progress skills and build a strong foundation for cross country and enduro style riding, develop confidence, and have fun making new friends outdoors. Each day will start with up to three hours of riding, followed by a break for lunch, and then end with a different afternoon activity each afternoon.
