Bikepacking Overnight Add-on (8th grade and up)
This is an add-on program for athletes enrolled in another SSWSC cycling program. The program will consist of one planning/practice session and one overnight bikepacking adventure on singletrack trails near Steamboat. Young riders travel with all the necessary overnight gear on their mountain bike while learning best practices for traveling in the backcountry. Bikepacking is an exciting way to explore the backcountry, and this course creates a foundation for future bikepacking trips. Bike packs, tents, and meals are provided.
