Alpine Athletes Dominate First Two Days of Colorado Cup Winter Park Spring Series

The first two days of the Colorado Cup Spring Series at Winter Park wrapped up on Friday with giant slalom races on Thursday and Friday. With many athletes in town for the U.S. Nationals the field was stacked. SSWSC athletes and alumni dominated both the overall and U18 podiums. On Thursday, alum Tatum Grosdidier and SSWSC athlete Logan Grosdidier both raced to podium finishes with Tatum 2nd overall and Logan 3rd. Logan’s finish also earned her the top podium spot for U18s with teammate Abby Olson earning 3rd place U18.

Caman Beauregard also had a stellar day on Thursday, finishing 13th overall, winning the second run time, and taking the top spot on the U18 podium!

On Friday, Jeremy Nolting put his skis back on after a rest day and gave the field a clinic, taking the win for the men. Caman Beauregard continued his junior podium domination winning the U18 race alongside teammate Owen Wither 3rd place U18. Logan and Tatum hit the podium again but this time Tatum won the race and Logan took 3rd overall also earning her the 1st place U18 spot.

The series continued over the weekend with slalom races on Saturday and Sunday.
