The Rocky Central FIS Alpine Championships took place at Copper Mountain March 4 - 7, 2025. Men’s giant slalom races were on March 4 and slalom races on March 6, and women’s giant slalom races were on March 5 and slalom races on March 7. After nine inches of snow blanketed the slopes of Copper Mountain and a slight delay in racing SSWSC’s Daniel Ferruci won the giant slalom race, Ian Haupt was 5th and Curtis Zanni was 10th. The second giant slalom race scheduled for the same day was canceled. On March 6, again battling challenging conditions, Nicholas Bradford had the best result of the morning slalom race, finishing 5th overall and first U18, only 21 competitors out of 78 finished the race. In the afternoon slalom, Daniel just narrowly missed the podium, finishing in 4th place, and Ian Haupt was 8th.
