U16 Alpine Team Wraps Up Season at GS Campbell Cup at Vail

The U16 Alpine Team wrapped up their travel season with the GS Campbell Cup at Vail, April 6 - 7, 2025—one of the final races of the season. It was a bittersweet weekend, filled with sunshine, fun, and even a few cow costumes!
Athletes and coaches were treated to fantastic weather and excellent snow conditions. The courses were fast, challenging, and a blast to ski. The event welcomed athletes from U14, U16, and FIS, creating a competitive and exciting atmosphere.
Our U16 team was well represented with four boys and three girls competing.
On the first day of racing, the men’s team delivered strong results:
Schuyler Biglow had an outstanding second run, winning it by 0.40 seconds and finishing 2nd overall
Wilson Walker skied to a solid 6th place
Jonathan Nichols secured 9th
Felix Hadley finished just behind in 11th
On the women’s side:
Molly Fretwell led the charge in 5th place
Naia Broggi finished 27th
Rylee Thomsen rounded out the results in 30th
On the second and final day, the boys had the opportunity to race alongside FIS athletes:
Jonathan Nichols repeated his strong performance with another 9th-place finish
Wilson Walker was close behind in 10th
For the girls, it was another solid day:
Molly Fretwell stepped up to the podium with a 3rd place finish
Rylee Thomsen placed 19th
Naia Broggi skied into 25th

GS 2: 9th - Jonathan Nichols, 10th - Wilson Walker
It was an exciting way to close out the season and a memorable end to the U16 team’s travels!
