Skateboarding

Our second Skate the State happened on August 14th and it was a blast!! 5 athletes traveled with coaches Apple and Maddy to Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge and Vail skateparks. Tricks were learned and stomped, falls happened, we got back up, games of SKATE were aplenty, and so much FUN was had!! We’re looking at doing a third trip in September during our Fall Skate Camp. Last week we wrapped up our summer Trampoline Camps at Bald Eagle Lake! Three different three-week Sessions took place through June, July and August. Athletes from all different SSWSC disciplines participated in the fun and learned everything from progressive bed-tricks to double backflips. We were able to beat the heat of the summer by jumping in the lake and always dried off by playing trampoline games like TRAMP, Add-On and Rapid Fire. We’re stoked to bring our improved air awareness to the slopes this winter!
