Cross Country

Three SSWSC XC athletes traveled to Duluth, Minnesota to take part in the Super Tour races this past weekend. 

The Super Tour is the premier national race circuit.  It is through these races that athletes can qualify for both the world cup and Olympics.

Saturday’s race was a Freestyle sprint. 
Sswsc alumni Noel Keeffe took 2nd overall.
Grace Zanni (u-18) won the junior heats.  Trey Jones took 2nd overall in the junior heats and was the top u-18.  Griff Rillos finished 6th u-18.

On Sunday, SSWSC alumni Finn O’Connell took 4th overall in the individual start 10km, just .3 seconds from 3rd place and 9 seconds from the victory.

Grace Zanni was the top American junior in the women’s 5km freestyle

Trey Jones won the u-18 division and Griff Rillos placed 3rd in the mens 10km distance.
