U16 Alpine Team Kicks Off January with Four Podium Finishes in Speed Series

January was action-packed for the U16 alpine team! The month kicked off with the Wilder Dwight Memorial Speed Series at Aspen Highlands, featuring two downhill races and two super G events. For many first-year athletes, it was their thrilling debut in downhill racing—an adrenaline-pumping experience with blazing speeds, smooth race lines, and three breathtaking jumps. Aspen Highlands proved to be the perfect stage for these rookies, who gained valuable skills and newfound confidence to carry through the season. The team shone brightly, bringing home four third-place finishes and an impressive 19 top-15 results!
