The Winter Park Spring Series wrapped up last weekend with two slalom races on April 5-6, 2025. Athletes tackled the steep courses of Winter Park under sunny skies and spring snow conditions
U16 Athletes Adapt to Challenging Conditions at U16 Alpine Junior National Championships

Four U16 athletes represented the SSWSC at U16 Nationals this past March 31-April 5 at Sugarloaf in Maine. Those athletes were- Schuyler Biglow, Molly Fretwell, Pthalo Plomteux and Soren Shepherd (Isabella Konescny qualified but did not compete). The athletes competed against the best U16 ski racers in the country in super-g, giant slalom, slalom and skills quest down the infamous Narrow Gauge Race Trail, one of the most challenging trails on the East Coast.
Snowboard Athletes Show Up in Force at USASA National Championships in Copper
32 SSWSC snowboard athletes from nearly every program competed across multiple disciplines in the USASA National Championships event at Copper Mountain March 28-April 3, 2025. Team SSWSC finished the week with 42 top-ten finishes including nine podiums.
Cross Country Athletes Compete in 2025 International Spring Series in Jackson, Wyoming

The International Spring Series is a Cross Country competition that historically provides elite level racing that highlight the end of the season for participating XC athletes. Junior athletes go head to head with senior athletes, giving them valuable race experience.
