U17/U19/FIS Moguls

The U17/19/FIS Program is designed for athletes in high school or who have graduated high school and would like to pursue their potential in moguls skiing through a comprehensive year-round program. This program is the highest-level mogul skiing program available at SSWSC. Mogul skiing should be the athlete’s primary sport, while a secondary shoulder season sport is still possible. Spring, summer, and fall training includes strength and conditioning, led by qualified coaches, to ensure a fun, safe, and productive training environment. The summer schedule will be high-intensity and immersive training consisting of tramps, water ramps, and strength and conditioning, all designed to advance the athlete’s skiing success. Competitions include Rocky Mountain Comp Series, Junior Nationals, US Championships, US Selection Events, NorAm Tour, World Cup, and other FIS events. The competition schedule is determined by the coaching staff for each athlete.

  • Minimum skiing requirement: Desire and ability to ski moguls and perform upright aerials.
  • High School Schedule Requirement: SSHS students should register for the full skier schedule in the winter and part-time in the fall to line up with weekday training times for the fall and winter. Boarding school option available with Steamboat Mountain School.
